Rite-Hite's Safe-T-Vu and Safe-T-Signal both have microwave sensors that detect unidirectional traffic and communicate approaching traffic with LED lights.
The Safe-T-Vu Warning System is ideal where rack aisles meet the main traffic lane with obstructions often restricting traffic visibility. The rack-mounted system flashes red LED-illuminated chevrons in the direction traffic is approaching and alerts workers to oncoming traffic. The unit mounts magnetically to your racks and is powered electronically with low voltage 24VDC.
The Safe-T-Signal Warning System improves safety at blind corners by alerting workers to oncoming traffic from all directions. The ceiling-mounted system uses LED lights in the shape of a red octagon or amber triangle to communicate traffic at four-way, three-way or two-way intersections. When traffic is detected by two or more directions blue LED lights project on the floor.
The Safe-T-Signal offers optional remote sensors and signals to assist when there are obstructions. In this image the Safe-T-Signal detects fork truck traffic behind the blue wall and the remote signal alerts workers approaching the door to proceed with caution.
